what cannot return (and what stays, nevertheless)
a monument to a moment, somewhere and somewhen that existed, overlayed, and played out. the same, and yet shifted - a monument to memory, forgotten, remembered, still there and gone - the feeling of a moment lived in, of a physicalized history, of tangible connection to a space that has irrevocably changed, reflected.
it is a shift in focus, in presence, to the beauty of everyday things. what it is to be known now, but not forever. to experience a moment alongside you, in the same room, constantly being made different, alike you, where the distance is no longer so large - like a low hum, brought home by a cool, old wind.
